Hi guys!
I know food expenses during the holidays have a tendency to get out of hand. Entertaining guests is certainly not cheap, and it’s the time of year where it’s entirely acceptable to buy items you normally wouldn’t… like a $10 block of cheese…because it’s special! Then the holiday season ends, January comes around, and you find your wallet a bit (or a lot) lighter than it had been.
Thankfully, there is no need struggle during this time and resort to eating poorly for the sake of saving money! In fact, my friend Alyssa and her blog Balanced on a Budget will provide you with helpful tips and inexpensive (but healthful!) recipes to help you plan out your week – Like this “Not Tuna” chickpea salad sandwich! I’ve given the recipe a try and I am definitely a fan.

Alyssa finds sun and creative ways to save you money while encouraging the addition of more veggies to your diet. Check out her blog here!
